Part of Berlin's Mittelstand since 2001
Berlin business owners
on a first-name basis.
The business network for Berlin's small and mid-sized companies: once a month, always somewhere new, no membership fee.
Most of our evenings are held in German. Several times a year we host an English-language evening, and some are bilingual. The flag next to each date tells you which.
Next meetup: Get together November 2026, Thu, 5 November
What it costs
Nothing. Really. Your currency is showing up: come along, bring someone, pass on recommendations. If we don't see you for six months, you quietly drop off the list, so the directory stays honest.
When and where
Once a month, usually Tuesday or Thursday from 6 pm. The venue changes every time: restaurants, workshops and businesses run by our members. Dates go out by newsletter and are listed here.
Who belongs
Owners, managing directors and senior managers from Berlin and the surrounding area. A carpenter sits next to an IT consultant, a tax adviser next to a restaurant owner. Curiosity alone isn't quite enough: you should carry responsibility in your business.
25 years of Berliner Netzwerk, and we're celebrating.
In 2001, two Berlin groups joined forces: the “Handwerker Stammtisch”, a regular get-together of tradespeople, and “Ausbildungspower”. They became the Berliner Netzwerk, and we're still here. Thank you, every single one of you.

Member area
Between meetups, it keeps going.
Once your membership is approved, you get access to the full directory: who does what, who knows whom, who's looking for help right now.
Search by industry, district and name. Contact details are visible to logged-in members only.
Show what you do: company logo, project photos, services. Five minutes to keep it up to date.
Company visit, expert roundtable, after-work drinks. Create it, get it approved, done.
Your profile as a contact to pass on: a QR code to scan, straight into the address book or by email.
Every member brings new people along with a personal code, so it's clear who brought whom.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you'll want to know before your first meetup. Question not here? Just call or write.
Since 2001, so for 25 years. It grew out of the merger of two Berlin groups, the “Handwerker Stammtisch” and “Ausbildungspower”. Since then it has met once a month at changing venues, run by volunteers and free of charge. In 2026 we celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Yes. Most evenings are held in German, but several times a year we host English-language and bilingual evenings. Every date carries a flag: German, British, or both. Many of our members speak English, so you'll find people to talk to at any evening.
Nothing. No joining fee, no annual fee, no hidden costs. Everyone pays for their own food and drinks at the meetup. All we ask is that you show up and get involved.
Owners, managing directors and senior managers of companies in Berlin and the surrounding area. What matters is that you actually make decisions in your business. Your industry doesn't matter; the mix is what makes the network.
No. We used to follow a “one business per industry” rule. It is currently suspended: the network wants to grow and build a new core of regular members. Even if your trade is already in the directory, you're welcome.
It's relaxed. Arrive from 6 pm, a quick round of introductions for anyone new, then open conversation over food and drinks. No icebreaker games, no set programme, no pitches round the table.
No. Twice a year is enough to stay in. If we don't see or hear from you for more than six months, we take you out of the directory. You can come back any time.
Introduce yourself, yes. Sell, no. Anyone who treats the evening as a sales channel gets a friendly word, and if it happens again, no further invitations. Business here comes through recommendations. If you'd like to make other members an offer, the website has a “Member benefits” section for that. That's where it belongs; the evening stays free of it.
Yes, please do. Every member can create an invitation code in their profile. Guests can come along once with no strings attached and then decide whether to register.
It's stored on a server in Germany and never passed on. Contact details are visible only to logged-in members, not to search engines. We delete your profile on request within 48 hours.

The network is run by two volunteers, and your email or call goes straight to one of them. Who they are is on our page About us.
One email a month. Nothing else.
Date, venue and important news from the network. The newsletter is written in German, with English sections where needed. No marketing, and we never pass on your address. Unsubscribe with one click.
