Right in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg, at Pallasstraße 35, lies the Coffee INN Hostel – a hostel with 208 beds for anyone who wants to experience Berlin not through a guidebook, but from within the neighbourhood itself. Backpackers from all over the world meet families, solo travellers and groups here, and it is precisely this mix that creates the atmosphere.

At the heart of it all is the café on the ground floor, which is open not only to guests but to all Berliners. It serves speciality coffees made from beans sourced from the Berlin roastery Andraschko, along with soft drinks, beer, cakes and light snacks. Those who stay in the evening will quickly make friends – for example, at the weekly ‘Games Wednesday’, when laughter rings out in several languages simultaneously around the tables.

Schöneberg is more than just an address: Winterfeldtplatz with its weekly market, the bars and cafés around Goltzstraße and the proximity to Nollendorfplatz are all within walking distance, whilst the underground and S-Bahn connections take you to any other part of the city in just a few minutes.

There is also a dance and yoga room available to hire by the hour, as well as a few parking spaces in the underground car park.
